About UsBusiness and Professional Women of the Triangle (BPW/Triangle) is part of one of the oldest women's advocacy organizations in the United States. Our chapter was established in 1919. We are a 501(c)(4) organization solely run and operated by volunteers, and rely on charitable donations and sponsorships to support our programming. As part of our mission, we created a sister charitable organization that is a 501(c)(3) and eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions in accordance with Code section 170. BPW/Triangle is a group of dynamic, talented, and engaged professional women who are devoted to actively working towards the interests and needs of all employed women, irrespective of their occupation or status. We strive to empower each other to achieve our full potential in the proud BPW tradition of building powerful women. What we do Our chapter’s mission is to achieve equality for all women in the workplace through advocacy, education, and information. Our monthly programs bring together professional women to inform and empower each other through educational programs, mentorship, and relationship building.
